170 USD.. not sure if thats reasonable for 1500 pc lego or not. Someone else will have to chime in.

Any Lego that is licensed is always a bit more expensive. Looking at Lego.com I see sets with less pieces for around the same price. So it seems like they're not gouging more than other franchises.

There are Star Wars sets with poor value... The Dark Trooper Attack set only has 166 pieces for $40.

Minifigs will also bump up a sets price more than other pieces.

Lego OP looks fantastic. When I showed the pictures to my wife, she rolled her eyes and asks why I need ANOTHER OP, then I said it was Lego and she had to take another look.
