I would not return it, I would buy the one online and the one on sale in store, I would than sell which ever is greater to a fellow collector at cost because it is almost a certainty these will sell out. I'd feel lucky to even get one.

I wanted to ask my fellow members that whoever was honoured with 25% off their purchase of MP Soundwave, did u guys got the discount from the phone or from online? If by phone did u guys only got confirmation through email? If ordered by phone can u guys see the order online with ur TRU account. I ordered by phone with 25% off and I only got email confirmation and it doesn't show on my account so I don't know what's going on. All I see is my cancel orders so I want to know if anyone who ordered through phone have similar situation. I called TRU to make sure and they told me my order went through fine and everything is ok but I just want to make sure. Can anyone from the board let me know ASAP as I'm worried.

I got my order in at like 9am got my confirmation email an hour later and it is showing on my tru account.

I called and the person said that once it ships ill get the discount applied.

and yes my credit card was charged as soon as I ordered so no it isn't charged when it ships.

The KEY word in my post was "IF". Also who knows what packaging SW will ship in. People posted their SW purchase on TRU.com. The boxes are all crushed and dented. TRU may as will just wrap the box in tissue paper and ship it out in stead of putting it in a shipping box.

This is pretty strange. I have never been charge on any preorder items from TRU.ca .... Not on Metroplex, Soundwave nor the Year Of the Horse Optimus Prime. Anyone else got charged? I rather not until the item is ready to ship, because I probably need to do a price adjustment when it's going on sale.

no charges for me but I did all my ordering online and not on the phone though.

For those that got charged, might be a good indication it's going to ship tomorrow (Tuesday). Not surprising as it corresponds with the release of MP SW to retail stores as well.
