Save your money, and just look for an original Hasbro version, not the re-released Hasbro one.
There are only 3 reasons I can think of to get the Takara version.
- you want to re-create the scene using the apron and drink set
- you want to re-create the Computron scene with the mind transfer device
- you want to have a whole collection of Takara-only boxes
Hasbro version has the crown. I'm not a comic reader, but damn, the crown does look good on Grimlock (best Grimlock accessory in my opinion). As for sharper teeth and claws, yah right, not enough to justify the cost difference.
The original Hasbro and Takara version are very similar, ala minute Soundwave differences.
Besides that, shitty gimmick is shitty gimmick. The loosy neck-turning, tail-wagging gimmick was a flop.
