I was talking with a friend, and we thought about making the guitar with an amp, that can transform into Slamdance. I think it'd also be possible to give them their own vehicle modes. But thats something I'll leave until later.
If you were able to make a Steeljaw to replace this Blockrock,

And have him transform back into the drum that fits into Blaster's chest that would be sick, and you would get a hug. lol

I thought his name was Blackrock to homage GB. Blackrock the Oil tycoon from the Marvel comics...though whats funnier on the packaging his name was Flashback...

Two questions: What's the average rate of cost on these types of printed add-on kits? And will the new gun fit in original G1 Blaster's hand?

I'd love to know how much that head will cost. I really hate the head on Universe Blaster now (looks too much like Soundwave) and would love to replace him with that great work of art you are making.

Yeah, I've considered making Steeljaw transform into a drum like that. Even figured out the basic transformation. I'll see what type of time I have to try and work on it. The only problem is I don't see myself casting and making it for sale in resin or plastic material. Probably making it a model kit available from shapeways..

Well, the final parts I'll be selling will be casted pieces in resin or plastic material. And they'll be around the ball park of what repro parts will cost. Selling the printed parts directly are actually more expensive, and would require work, like sanding and painting.

I'm thinking the Classics Blaster set (helmet, visor, 2-3 faces, gun) will be around $10-$15, based on repro parts I've seen in similiar sizes. I haven't factored in the time it will take to paint the faces, so that might drive the price up a bit in the end.

Little update on Steeljaw. Still shaping him up. Head modeling is close to done though.

Re: Universe Blaster upgrade WIP

Another update on Steeljaw. Got most of the main modeling done. I think I might leave his weapons small, and not add at the lower gun... Though, I was thinking of making them maybe seperate, and add them directly on to his thigh. Now I need to add the joints. Hes got about 20 points of articulation, if I can pull it all off. Hes around the same size as Ravage, or at least 0.5cm longer.
