Fallen Prime

Hello everyone! I've been a member here for couple of months now. It's my first time posting here, thought I'd share my custom with you guys.
I've worked on this figure since April 09. To be honest, this by far was the longest custom I've ever done. It took many sleepless nights, love, care and coughing to custom this masterpiece.

I present to you my own spin of THE FALLEN! TFTM style as if he appeared on the 2007 Transformers Movie.

All critics are welcome...

- Airbrushed with automotive paint (House of Kolor, ALSA)

- Airbrushed flames, True Fire Style!

- Chromed parts using ALSA Mirra Chrome

- Dry-brushed certain areas of his body metallic colors to give depth

- Applied the panel line technique for the lava effect on his body.
Colors White,Red,Orange, Yellow was used for the panel line. First I washed
each lines with white, then ran a light wash of Red, then couple of light
orange washes. Finally I blended in the yellow in certain areas to depict
the hot spots of an oozing magma. Needle like brushes were used to apply
the details.

- I applied small amount of lighter fluid on a cotton towel, then rubbed on
the body (robot form) to give it that weathered look.

- 4 3mm. 5000mcd Red LEDs were placed on his lower torso. The lights can
be triggered/activated in both robot and truck mode.

- The original LED inside the Head (orange) were replaced with a Red one.

- Custom Gas Tanker Trailer made out of 1:28 scale Testors Kit

- Smoke Stacks were made out of 7mm. steel tubes.

- 2 Double Gatling Guns from a random Gundam kit.

- 2 TFC Prime Blades, top of blade is painted with Krylon Fusion Black, dry brushed with metallic color. Bottom part was chromed using ALSA.

- Ammunition belt came from some random J.I.Joe figure. The color of the plastic was too tacky, so , I repainted it with Metallic color (Brass), the gave the panel lines a light wash of black.

- Gas Tanker Gatling Gun mount was made from Primus's Chest parts, and TFU Unicron's feet. To attach the guns, I planted couple of rare earth magnets on both L&R sides. I also attached 1 magnet on each of the Gatling guns.

Amazing work.

The details you brought out really work against the base colours.

Re: Fallen Prime

Too amazing for words!

Those flames, I feel like they're burning me! They're glowing hot! Oh wow.

Can't say enough good things about this, so I'll just sit here and stare at the pics a little while.
