Re: Post Your Transformers Hauls - 2013 edition

A MOSC Transmetal 2 Jawbreaker came in the mail today

It was the first time I ever opened a Beast Wars card o.o that thing has been encased in its bubble since before my little sister was born! It's kinda crazy...

I love this little guy! He's all nasty edges and giant chromed shoulder kibble! So awesome!

Re: Post Your Transformers Hauls - 2013 edition

Accidentally had it shipped by FedEx and had a $20 brokerage fee as well as a giant dent on the corner.... Fortunately the actual box is smaller than the toy box.

Anyways, Transformers GT GT-R Prime

$20 brokerage?!?!? Fuck... they really make shipping stuff a pain in the ass don't they? Fed Ex, UPS, Purolator... why even bother with them?

In robot mode, it's loose fitting in both hands. Only the doll can hold it fine.
The alternity line has the diecast reversed. The car body is plastic while the robot body parts is diecast. This causes more scrapping on paintjob on th diecast. Mine have been in their respective boxes since because of that. Quite a sad line.

Then again that thing is a must have on any Prime dispay.

Re: Post Your Transformers Hauls - 2013 edition

All my Alternity cars transformed multiple times, not a single scratch. Seriously, of all the die-cast toys I have, the only ones with chipped paint are the ones I've bought used from others (BT Tracks and BT Sunstreaker). I guess I have special powers.

Re: Post Your Transformers Hauls - 2013 edition

I've played and transformed them multiple times no scrapped parts but I can imagine my kids can't actually play with them. That's just sad.

I had to be even more careful just transforming some delicate areas. BB's transformation specifically. Not your normal TF you can transform just to distress a little. It's one of the few I can't use as a stress ball without worrying about damaging them in the long run.

That's what mainline toys are for.

ConvoyGTR, where did you order from? Wasn't there styrofoam peanuts or cushioning from shipping damages?

I just ordered mine with them and chose EMS, no duties and on delivery as we are speaking. I hate FEDEX, UPS....
