Well that's not really correct.... The thing with Arcee is that she's the first fem. In the IDW verse it's shown that Transformers didn't originally have genders and that it was introduced later.

If they name him Ponch they have to repaint the mold into his partner Baker. They're the first to members of a new combiner team the CHiPs.
