Re: Value Village: what are your Transformers findings?

I just found three of the McDonalds Food Changeables while on vacation in Edmonton $2.99 for three from the dinosaur wave of 1990.

Re: Value Village: what are your Transformers findings?

Found a 2010 'Laser' Optimus yesterday. Missing his sword - normally not a big deal for me - but he's one of those rare figures whose alt-mode requires the weapon to hold together. Guess I'll have to fab something for it.
Also found a complete Optimash Prime, and the big potato Grimlock in a bag of mixed Potatohead parts.

Almost bought another Optimus I couldn't identify - but missing a foot and an arm. Was there ever a Voyager sized movie Prime in the Nightwatch colours? I don't see anything like in on tfwiki.

Laser Prime doesn't actually need the sword to stay together. The other one you found wasn't Voyager Fireburst OP from DOTM, was it?

Without the sword pegging the legs together, it's just the little clip at his heels. Doesn't help that the legs won't clip to the grey panel securely. For $2, I'm okay with it.

The other wasn't Fireburst OP. It was predominantly light blue/teal, with the grey flames. But definitely the Voyager mold.

ROTF Defender OP, perhaps?

Re: Value Village: what are your Transformers findings?

Found a pretty good haul today.

TM2 Megatron ($5) - sadly missing the head
Animated Bulkhead ($5) - missing the hatch/head cover and the missiles, and the top of his head/helmet, but the batteries are still good
Speed Stars Stealth Force Megatron ($4) - missing the missile. I love autotransforming gimmicks.

These in addition to a compound mitre saw with a stand (probably saved me $150 off a new one), and I used a full donation card for 30% off - good thing too, as the sticker prices on the TFs seemed a bit on the high side.

Uses a discount card at Value Village. I could spot the Scot without even seeing the name! I love it.
