animated bumblebee more show accurate

did this fella on the drive to edmonton.vinyl wrapped his windows,headlights,air dam and lower chest section.i love this mold but couldnt stand the blue windows.surprisingly,i didnt even cut myself doing this at 160km i still wanna find one more bb so i can do a grey and black heat damaged version with a battle mask.

vinyl wrap is basically what it sounds like.wrapping something in vinyl.think of vehicle wraps like commercial vehicles,only on a smaller scale.the best part about vinyl is that if you want to change the design later on,all you need is a heat gun and unlike paint,no sanding is needed to change/remove designs.

Just a thought, but you should have used a darker automotive window tint on the windows so they would continue to be somewhat transparent.

i considered tint but dont like how its so crispy and doesnt like to conform to curves too well.that and i dont really like how you could see bumblebees bot mode scrunched up inside.

I'm going to deffinately have to do something about that front bumper area yellow-spot-that-should-be-black when or if I get one. (I'm not sure what it's called)

I'm surprised you hven't added any other mods in 'bot mode like the yellow hands or the unpainted arm stripes.

i didnt do those yet cause when it comes to smaller and more intricate details i prefer paint and i didnt want to be cleaning paint in the back of wifeys car.soon though....

can u post before and after pics man, so I can more noticable tell the difference? I'm sure you did an excellent job, but its so good, I can't see where u made the changes =)thx

update.did the same stinger mod as seen on this site,wrapped his face into a battle mask,vinyl wrapped his arm pinstripes and his "shoes".still gotta do some panel lining and his hands but thats gonna have to be put to the side for now to continue on a different project.
