I think Energon Jetfire's alternate mode's pretty damn awesome. It can serve as a cargo, passenger, or assault frigate. Or maybe a corvette instead of a frigate, since it would probably be a very small frigate and in the range of a corvette.

And when teamed up with Energon Skyblast, it has a matching escort fighter. I always was trying to come up with a way to combine the two into one ship with detachable fighter.

Plus it can split off into two ships (the main passenger / crew section above and the cargo / engine section below).

Also, though I've never tried this, or seen this, you could potentially powerlink two Energon Jetfire "engine" sections together to make a different ship configuration. I imagine it might look somewhat like a really beefed up Babylon-5 fighter if the legs are folded a certain way.

This is only because they haven't made a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution alt mode yet

I think my favourite is Wheeljacks Lancia Stratos Turbo, anlong with the Binaltech Shockblast RX8, but that's mostly because of colour.

I also love the new Alternity GT-R35s, they need to make a R34 alt mode
