Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat
Vancouver Walmart only had enough SNES classics for less than half this line up.

Nintendo is such a failure at providing stock.

Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat
haha f*ck that
lining up in the rain just to go home disappointed.
If I could walk into a random best buy and buy one off the shelf then I probably would. I hope nintendo loses out on a lot of sales from guys like me that would buy one if it didn't require moving heaven and earth

Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat
I'm sure the scalpers will buy them all up like last time. I'm the same, I'm not going to bother if I can't just pick one up at retail.

agreed!
NV Walmart staff said they got around 48 units in and all the item tickets were handed out before 7 am so when I arrive a couple minutes after store opens I get nothing.

Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat
I guess 48 units per store is an improvement over last time... Still not enough though.

definitely but that's how Nintendo wants to operate. They want huge demand and buzz instead of higher amounts of revenue and profits.

Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat
Spoke to the guy at Langley TRU and he said they had over 100. Even with a 1 per person limit they still all sold out.
I just don't get it. Who cares *that* much especially considering they've committed to continue producing more and more.

Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat
The next Pop Culture show at the Scottish Cultural Centre is coming up on October 14th, anyone else going?
http://fun-promo.com/upcoming-events/vancouver/
I'll be there, selling a variety of loose TFs, probably some Hot Wheels, and maybe some video games, all for cheap! The last one was a good time, nice turnout and lots of cool stuff for sale. I'm pretty excited to go again!
