While backpacking through Europe in '05 I spotted some guy in Rome with a shopping cart full of Peroni Lager...the cans were stacked 5 flats high!!!

Ever the thrifty traveller I decided to sample 2 tall cans that night thinking "When in Rome..."

Big mistake.

I spent the night in our bathroom projectile squirting pesto and beer from both ends while my wife assured the proprierter of the pensione we were staying at that we'd clean up throroughly before we left.

Since then I've noticed that Peroni has made it to our shores. Just the sight of it gives me shivers...

I'm a beer lover, so much so that each year, me and a buddy of mine hit all of the beer festivals in the area to try out new stuff and regale in other stuff we already love that's not available over here!

It's gotten to the point where I'm a beer snob, if it's not imported or microbrewed, I won't drink it. (well OK, I'll drink it cuz it's beer, but I will do so begrudgingly).

Worst thing I've ever tasted is actually a tie. I w 15 when I had my first Miller .5... terrible terrible stuff. I can't believe I ended up liking beer in the end. The other that ties this is a room temperature Labatt 50. Pure horrid!
