CA13 Diesel & M3 Crossfire Set Replacement Gun?

Just got my Diesel from BBTS and in the shipping box there is a plastic bag w/ the label "Causality CA13 Diesel and M3 Crossfire Set: Replacement Gun". It contains some parts for assembling the sniper guns. The same set of parts can be found on Diesel. I'm not following the news that close so my question is what are these for? Thanks.

diesel has problems holding the gun...at least mine did in combiner mode

The replacement part has less plastic on the back side of the fold down handle for the large rifle. That way the slot and the tab actually fit together in menasor's hand. It's nice to because you can use the old part that comes with diesel in menasor's forearm still so it doesn't look like an empty space when the rifle is assembled.

Haven't had any problems getting Menasor to hold the gun, at least in the left hand. Haven't tried the right as I have him hold the sword in that one.

Mine came today, had the replacement part, but was missing one of the gun barrel parts, I was very sad... I bought it from bbts, should I email them about a replacement, or should I contact fansproject directly?

Always contact the store first. The stores have the companies ear so let them worry about that part. Most of the larger e-tailers are awesome at resolving issues like yours.
