SXS announces A-03 upgrade for Generations Blitzwing

Yep, the guys who brought you Fall of Cybertron weapons for Optimus Prime and Megatron are also making an upgrade pack for Generations Blitzwing! This set will include a G1 style head that does not spin like Animated, as well a rifle and missiles for the jet mode!



Personally I like this, as I'm not fond of Blitzwing-E-Faces.

BTW - Remember when people were preaching from the highest soap box that the new Generations toys would lead to the end of third party Transformers? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! There is always room from improvement.

Honestly I don't mind the spinning face, his G1 styled face is still slavish enough for me so I'll pass on this. It's still a neat idea though.

I agree, maybe the head is smaller so it can fit during vehicle modes. The weapons are a nice add-on.

more g1 esque square head sculpt i could see people jumping on, but the same head with an added ball joint and removed gimmick? meh

I really don't remember anyone saying that at all. I did say that I am replacing my Defender with the new Generations Springer but I don't recall anyone declaring the end of 3rd party.

3rd party will end itself! LOL! The head is a neat idea but I'll wait until I see actual pics before I decide to buy it. Plus I want to see what Takara will do with their Blitzy.
