Damn, you beat me out. I messaged about this lot earlier today.
Congrats man.

The BBTS orders I keep around the $100 mark and haven't been hit yet since I've set that rough limit.

On the Meg's any other issues with him other than aesthetics? I was tempted by him and Trailbreaker when I was in the US last week for $13 each at KMart but I'm being patient for the Takara releases. I know I'm crazy, right? Lol
No, he's a sturdy figure other then a loose shoulder ball joint. Trailcutter is worth picking up, especially if you get the cannon hand upgrade.

BBTS even packed a slip saying it's exempt. Lol

Can you describe the breakdown of the $40?

Toys are typically exempt from customs duty, so it should just be GST/HST on the full value, plus a sort of broker charge to pay them for their services in giving the money to the government for you.

Beast Hunters Legion Hun-Gurrr

All from Big Filipino here on this board. The guy rocks, plain and simple.

Nice little haul, Big Filipino is Bro-some! Now find a cheap United Thunderwing and do this to him:

Re: Post Your Transformers Hauls - 2013 edition

Nah, I like the grey on him. It kind of fits in with the silver. Plus I'm rather adverse paying for a United figure just to scavenge parts off of. I believe I'm like that regardless of which side of the Pacific the 'donor' figure hails from, unless it's like a 'Value Village' find that's like a couple bucks at most and has the parts needed...but I have yet to come across that situation.

I still get mystified as to why certain parts get colored a certain way when they end up sticking out like sore thumbs once assembled. This mold's back double hinge is one such example.

I read ya, that back hinge is what set me off on this mission to blacken my Black Shadow. I'm glad I got the Sky Shadow on the cheap and only paid $20 for the United Thunderwing at TFCon plus I have a Hasbro Thunderwing which was also a discount figure of $10 at Zellers when they existed in my town and tax so about $45 for the 3 of them I'm happy with. But I am crazy like that. Now for me to work on that said hinge plus the one for the legs and the two for the feet. I suffer (financially) for my art, lol.

Re: Post Your Transformers Hauls - 2013 edition

My trip out today netted me my Machine Wars Botcon Set courtesy of Big Fillipino and fellow Cybertron.ca member Robimus who kindly acted as middle man for me at this year's TFCon to snag the set.

Traded for a Vehicon from PRID at long last. (Is it just me or does the snap on blaster feature not work very well? Perhaps I'm just doing it wrong.)

Also picked up CL Hun-Gurrr.

Thanks again BF for the Kreon set and to Rob for graciously picking it up for me.

Monday I start school, so my haulages will be dwindling for a while, or being less frequent as I apply myself to learning the ins and outs of running a business.
