Transformers: The Last Knight Voyager Class Optimus Prime In-Hand Images
Snakas Blog is sharing with us an in-hand image of Transformers: The Last Knight Voyager Class Optimus Prime. The revealed figure is the same as what we saw on the leaked Color Guide last week. A comparison shot with the old AOE Armor Knight Optimus Prime clearly shows the improvements made on the mold. We’ve mirrored the image with this news post. Check it out, after the jump.

"Clearly shows the improvements"? I guess it makes the AOE version look far better.

C'mon guys clearly this is an improvement over the.............nope can't do it with a straight face.
I'm just over the movie aesthetic and have been for a long time.

In all honesty it does look cleaner, but I can't justify another movie Prime. Sick of that particular alt mode and never was a fan of that bot mode look.

the AOE toy looks like it has more paint on it, and more detailed paint as well.
In terms of the mold, I don't see two pieces that are the same between the two figures.
Also, looks like Prime's man-boobs got a little saggier.

That's the premium Takara Leader class version of the mold. Can't really compare.
Compressed backpack = win. The Takara version will probably look amazing.

This.
Its kind of depressing as there is really nothing to be excited about with this movie.

I was never that much into the movieverse toys, but I had mad respect for the complex, intricate transformations you'd see on some of the voyagers and leaders.
Shellformers though? Not impressed.
