Re: Transformers Siege Voyager and Deluxe Released at Retail

If anyone wants a Cog, please message me. I have an MISB that I bought on impulse and now I'm having buyer's remorse. Otherwise, I'll just return him to the store.

Re: Transformers Siege Voyager and Deluxe Released at Retail

One more thing I wanted to add. I did kind of feel my heart skip a beat when the cashier at Walmart rung up the total for Prime, Megs, and Sideswipe, about $115 with tax. I guess I'm just not use to those prices with the Generations line. Guess I'll just have wait for TRU to have a sale (since TRU's out in Edmonton didn't have Seige in stock to take advantage of the BOGO half off).

Skytread is the dud of the bunch. Hound is the best out of the wave.

That said, Cog might be the shelf warmer. Too oddball for your average child.

True, I do like Hound, but no one seemed to be picking him up. Cog is odd, but too cool looking to pass up at the same time

Re: Transformers Siege Voyager and Deluxe Released at Retail

Following some pics on TFW2005 boards, I fixed Megatron's wonky ankle tilt panel issue by removing a bit of the plastic on the bump that was preventing the panel to snap back into place. Just scraped an exacto to remove a few flakes of plastic off and now it's good.

My Siege Cog wouldn't scan last night at WM, so I got it for $19.97.

Happened to me as well! At least for the 2 extra Cog figures I bought from Agincourt Walmart. I told the guy they are $29.98/ea and he insisted it should be $19.98 by quoting the price of a miscellaneous Bumblebee he happened to find on their system. He told me I would be overpaying for these Transformers if I insist it is $29.98. What can I say? The lady at the Morningside location was smart enough to use the other Siege deluxe figures as references. YMMV.

Cog is fun to mess with! I have opened one and attached the parts on my PotP Outback. Yes, a rather boring Legend sized figure... now Outback is ready for actions. Ok, everything is kind of a bit loose at all attachment points but the whole thing holds if I keep it for display only. You can attach parts from Cog to anything that has some 5mm pegs and holes. I am looking forward to Six Gun since it is also designed based on this concept.

I was going to pass on Cog until I seen that pic. He seems like a great way to beef up little guys.
