Sorry, don't know... I just did a search on ePay and found it. Pretty reasonable price, though.

Good idea before you spent $$$ on flashes/strobes. The bulb should have a color temperature of 5500K. Some are using slightly warmer 5000K (simulating sunset?). You will need more than one light for sure unless you want to create a shadow.

Re: Toy Photography

The most important thing to do is to make sure the toys are in awesome poses before you take a picture. The best camera in the world won't help you if the toy's looking stale and uninteresting.

But then I know nothing about photography.

Re: Toy Photography

that looks like an easy set up to do. it almost looks like class photos. i should get a miniature stool and have a tf yearbook.

anyone know what material to use for the bottom to give off that reflective effect? like the new alternity bb and cj pics?

Re: Toy Photography

Nice easy set up Astrana.

These pics are the result of my set up which is similar. That being said I would like to get different lights and the white cardboard. I figure that the dollar store would be good for some of the supplies.

I also like using the shadows a little bit:

and if you can get the lighting right, the eye gimmick will work nicely.
