I'm pretty sure toy swapping doesn't work here since so many stores have that policy of not taking back opened merchandise.

walmart and toys r us both take back opened merch as a policy, hell, walmart even takes back merch that isnt even from walmart as i have seen zellers exclusive clothing lines returned to walmart and from other store specific exclusives too.

Toy swapping happens at all major retailers and isnt about to end any time soon. All the customer has to say is that the toy is defective and they will take it back.

Huh, that is something I am not glad to be wrong on. Looks like the hobby stores are the savvy ones then.

They'll remove the hands/feet too I'm sure. One of the last Walmarts I worked in took back a Platinum Predaking and I went to check it out since the box was opened. Inside were broken Han Solo and Chewbacca SW X-overs, so it is rare for them or TRU to bother checking returns, not to mention 99% don't know the diffrence anyway lol

wow! thats a bold move on the returner's end. imagine if the store clerk knew to check and catch them in the act. embarrassing to say the least!

my purchase of fort max from tru last week was missing the contents of the baggy pouch that contained instructions, stickers, card...my guess is that its a factory screw up, and hopefully not the actions of a greedy petty thief.

anyhoo...i ordered computron from tru.ca on fri and it arrived today courtesy of canada post! that was fast!!
