Re: Ghostbusters Video Game

How is the interactive play with the wii remotes? Does it feel like your using a proton accelerator?

How does the game play work with the PS3? Like any other shooter game?

Re: Ghostbusters Video Game

Grabbed the PS3 version last night from Superstore ($49.99) and the Bluray from Future Shop. I haven't played the game yet (hopefully tonight)... and then online mayhem this weekend!

Superstore has this on sale for $10 off for every platform. It was in their last flyer. Expires Friday AFAIK.

Re: Ghostbusters Video Game

I've been such a Ghostbusters fan all my life. I can't believe the attention to detail in this game. Frigginn' wicked cool!!!!

EDIT:
"Right now I am playing the PC version of the game. It is very addicting! They did an amazing job with this game. Must not play anymore tonight, must sleep" - Mumps

Mumps, how is the PC version running? I remember hearing that one needed a monster machine to play it on. What are the system requirements for the game and whats your opinion on how it runs? I am considering getting the PC version myself, however I am not sure if it would run well on my machine.

The Wii version is really fun with the motion controls. I hear the PS3 version is awesome as well. Personally I will get the PS3 one as well, some day. But today, its Wii all the way.

The system requirements are pretty high. I can list them off when I get home. But the biggest worry for most PC users is that it says "256MB video cards are NOT supported" They recomend 512MB.

My machine is a monster. (appropriately, my friends nicknamed it "Monster" O_o)
nvidia 9800 GS, 6GB RAM, Intel Quad Core processer, the works. I am running this game on full detail at 1920x1200 resolution, and it is smooth as can be. I had one spike of lag sofar, and that was when something big blew up right between the camera, and my character. Not a likely scenerio. Not that the lag hurt at all, my character was knocked down by the blast anyway..

Re: Ghostbusters Video Game

Damn, I only have 256MB for my video RAM - and I don't have a dual-core processor. I am scared to even try it.

This is why I may pick up a PS3 one of these days.
