Re: Just saw TF IMAX (spoilers)...
There's another thing to note in the whole Devastator/Brawl thing.
While in New Zealand I was able to find a preview of the UK Transformers movie comics being published by IDW and done by Simon Furman/Geoff Senior. At least in the preview I have and the interview with Furman... Brawl is called Devastator in the comics as well.
Either this is another mistake (and boy does it seem to keep happening) or they're just giving him the Devastator name.

Re: Just saw TF IMAX (spoilers)...
Just came back from seeing it in IMAX, bloody damn awesome, worth every penny just for the big screen and amazing sound system. Can’t believe how much a difference it makes compared to a regular theatre, defiantly should have originally been released on the format in the first place instead of Potter. Though in a way I’m glad they did, as it was a good fall TF boost: D
Personally I'm glad they cut the scenes that they did in the original cut. The inserted scene's were pretty useless and can see why they didn’t make the final cut. The whole Miles pickup scene was a complete waste and the extended police station scene actually killed the comedic reaction.
Anyway anybody who can see it on IMAX defiantly go do it trust me it’s awesome.

I saw it today and completely agree with you, it really is the best way to see this movie, when ever there was a transformer on screen they felt really big, and you see so much detail in them, every transformation was incredible too. if I have a chance I would go see it again in IMAX.

Re: Just saw TF IMAX (spoilers)...
I can see why a lot of the scenes were not in the movie, they didn't make the cutting floor due to upseting the pace (namely the don't do drugs scene ruined that little piece of comedy gold). But Agent Simmons scene was good "You know Area 51? Well this is Area 50"

Re: Just saw TF IMAX (spoilers)...
I have to say it was pretty damn awsome in IMAX the sound and picture quality was amazing, and it's always great to see that movie on the big screen. that way you can actually see who's blowing up who.
