Prowl and Starscream look kinda cool.
Not so sure about the rest, though.

Re: Transformers Animated Toys and Clip
I think people where afriad of the tazmanian devil transforming but in the clip it seems to be only prowl who does it and its suits him...I think this will be close to G1 roots at least character wise and will provide much entertainment.

Re: Transformers Animated Toys and Clip
I'm still trying to keep an open mind on the show. As for the toys, I like the Soundwave/Laserbeak and now that I've had a better look at the Dinobots I think they are alright. I'm sure my daughter will want the Dinobots. She keeps running around with my classics Grimlock saying" Me Grimlock love eating marsh mellows" and other nuggets of wisdom like that.
I'm still not real excited about the rest of the line and I really think Prime and Bumblebee are the worst of the lot. Time will tell.

Re: Transformers Animated Toys and Clip
Style-wise its definitely not my cup of tea, but that says nothing about the story plots, so hopefully they are good. I did like the homages to the originals though - starscreams voice, the dinobots, the 'origin' space flight to earth, OP's axe ...

Re: Transformers Animated Toys and Clip
Watching the clip and the new toys, I'm can say I'm reaaaaaaally stoked now. This version of the theme song is probably my favorite of all the post-G1 ones. Very dynamic. I love the animation style now, it's like old & modern fused together. And the toys... I totally dig the cartoony look, VERY GOOD execution. On that aspect, Armada toys failed because they were stuck halfway through looking serious and cartoony, making for a strange mix of (mostly bad) toys.
