Re: Toy Fair 2012

Playsets are sure a rare bread nowadays that it would rock to see more.

Oh and you know what would be awesome? Cyberverse Beast Wars o.o Beast Wars is that one corner of Transformers that seems to be its own little isolated space now, it would be cool to see like an Axalon playset with tiny Maximals...

Hey Guys, Just got my invite for Hasbro's booth. If anyone has any really good questions to ask the team I'll do my best to ask them.

You mean like modern versions of these?

I would LOVE to see Cyberverse updates to those two sets! What would be really fun is if there was a blind bag type of side line where you buy a stasis pod that holds a random Cyberverse Beast Wars toy. Each mold could even have a rarer transmetal colour variant.

Re: Toy Fair 2012

I was thinking more like the Axalon and Darksyde as playsets with cyberverse Beast Warriors.

Good god! That would rape my wallet so hard they could put Legion classes in them and make the Pods into toys of their own with emplacements for cyberverse weapons when you open it up.

For some reason though that sounds more like something Takara would pull.

Could you ask if Hasbro will find a way to re-release the First Edition Bulkhead and Cliffjumper one way or another?

Also could ask if they can tell retailers to stop not accepting the good must haves stuff of each line.

Re: Toy Fair 2012

Hmm... maybe ask them if we'll see more of the DOTM molds and later Generation molds retooled as other characters (Armored Topspin as Chromedome and Perceptor as Shockwave please!). Also if we do see more Human Alliance Basics (or at least more use of those molds) if we'll get more Decepticons in that scale?

Re: Toy Fair 2012

Maybe you could ask them where things went wrong with the Prime toy lines, pretty much all the figures in the FE line (specially the Voyagers) were/are incredible feats of engineering and design. Where the RID line seems to have taken a few steps back in both categories. It would appear to me that they tried to incorporate too many features or gimmicks into the RID line and the designs suffered for it.

Re: Toy Fair 2012

Yeah that new Cliffjumper just doesn't cut it compared to FE Cliffjumper.
