Also Tidal Wave still bein over 300$ even after the platinum discount is nuts?I haven?t gotten a Titan since Omega Supreme from Toys R Us years ago, and he cost a lil over 200$. EDIT: Oh...You can't even preorder Tidal Wave thru gamestop online anymore lol. I guess it makes sense, personally speaking he looks like a really good set and a character people have actually wanted for a long time, the past few titans before him have honestly been kinda meh as brand new characters and/or just painfully average big toys, which is why I didn't really get any of em. I mean I did kinda want Scorponok but not enough to make space for him. Tidal Wave actually has me considering putting my Omega in storage so he can take his place on the shelf lol.

Maybe we'll be able to get him in-store later this year and better yet, on clearance.

Scorponok was my childhood big bot, so I had to get the Earthrise update of him, despite the TRU manager on duty literally telling the cashier helping me that I couldn't get a sale price raincheck because it was "too big an item." Picked up the very next one I saw on shelves regardless.

Tidal Wave looks neat, and I'm glad people that were munchkins for the Unicron trilogy finally have a big honking update to purchase, but I hope those same people are judicious about what they'll spend or love the character enough to override any misgivings from potentially overspending.

was able to get the pre-order in for TidalWave @ the local GameStop this morning, $15 deposit
It’s too expensive but at least I can get the current GameStop 5% (30 bucks!? Jesus)

Of course, it could be that by the time he comes in later this spring/summer, wonder if they will still do the 5%, or hold it to (whatever the new reward system ends up being)

I wonder if it would be a good idea to pay for it up front then? I have an onyx card, so I get 15% off. I just might pay up front for it to get my full discount.

Percentage-based discount the best, the more expensive an item is - if u have the means, I'd say go for it before GS disables your 15% (approx 45 bucks off I think?)

I was checking on a preorder, hoping to get a shipping notification soon, and saw that Concept Art Megatron's release date is now March 8 (weird that he's still before Animated Optimus but OK) - and Concept Art Rumble's is now JULY 26 (WTF?).
