The first two strike me more as board threads, even in the way you've described them you seem to suggest they would be lead/participated in by the attendees. I have done panels at Anime North and man....... it's a lot of people yelling stuff across the room for an hour.

You just have to be there to understand.

A lot of those panels are fan run and really have no planning to them. Anyone that has been to my panels know that my intent is to educate and show people something they never knew about. (They are all over Youtube, give em a gander)

Now imagine if I had the Hazel panel room, but instead of my video game history panel, it was "What is your favorite TF game panel". Just picture it....... realistically........ in that big room.

I'll throw my 2 cents in and suggest a 3rd party toy development discussion. Perhaps shedding light on design work, time involved, factory negotiations, etc etc.

Also how about a debate on some agreed upon topic(s). Take 2 "experts" on 2 different sides and have them go through a moderated debate. Perhaps the topic could be something like "Should Optimus have remained dead in the G1 cartoon?"

Exactly! Take a completely ludicrous topic that only a TF fan would have an opinion on and see how people present arguments to defend or refute their stance. I'd find it interesting.
