I was agreeing with both you and Janitor. This availability shell game drives me up the wall, and the irony is that e-tail/online shopping was supposed to solve the problem, not exacerbate it.

AmiAmi still has the TakaraTomy one up for preorder. 1360Yen plus whatever shipping will be (should be minimal). It's a bit of a lighter purple but it also comes with a Headmaster

That's basically what I did. I set the order page as my home page, so basically every time I went on the internet I was able to check the stock and eventually got one.
