Re: 2012 TFCon Charity Project
Well, I may have found parts to make a BW Rampage deluxe using dotm Crankcase and some spare parts. If I get it done I don't mind donating it to the cause. I was also thinking Sidearm Sideswipe may have Depthcharge potential too.

Re: 2012 TFCon Charity Project
Here he is. I haven't transformed him yet. I sanded the crap out of this guy because there is so much rub, I trimmed this parts back in many places and I still worry about marking the paintjob. I digress.
edit - haha Now I see I missed his elbows. /:|

Re: 2012 TFCon Charity Project
He looks fantastic, bud! I love the green eyes, put some black in those vents under the headlights and you'd have some whiskers to help push the cheetah theme.
He looks really good but I can't help but feel that he could use some accents to break up all that yellow. Maybe some black on the middle stripes along the top of the car and the spoiler could work.
All things said, though, he looks great and I'm sure he'll turn the heads of bidders.

Re: 2012 TFCon Charity Project
Thanks guys!
I do like the whiskers idea, I may implement that. Stripes might be a bit tough now that he is assembled, but I think some black wash in the right spots will help for sure.

Re: 2012 TFCon Charity Project
Yeah, a wash may be all it needs, not that it isn't excellent already.
...An maybe you could tell me how you go about doing the wash?

Re: 2012 TFCon Charity Project
Ok, here's a quick wash tutorial for ya!
Get a fine little brush and some wash. I get this paint from a comic store in the mall here. Anywhere that has warhammer stuff should have the citedal paints. Those little 10 packs of brushes from walmart or micheals are good enough.
http://youtu.be/PrnSh1F26Sk
Here's a little video of how I apply the wash. It is very thin and I just load up the brush then with the tip I youch whatever I want to be a shade darker. Rivets, panel lining, window frames, any bit of detail I want to highlight. Just let the fluid flow into the detail. It's slow going and practice makes perfect.
See the wetness above the rear tires, in the picture below it is dry.
Same with the hood in the next couple pics. The first is wet and the second is after the wash had dried.
I hope that helps you!
