I voted for those guys too, but it's because I have a feeling Hasbro wanted them the least.

That's another reason why I voted that way.

I get why people would vote UM/Arcee/Thunderwing/Meg/Shockwave. They're their favourite characters and the obvious choices but look at what happened (in IDW) when you gave secondary characters a chance to shine. Starscream works as leader of Cybertron. Bumblebee doing his thing as leader when Prime wasn't around. These characters bios gained more dimensions to them.

Honor:
Ultra Magnus is already prominent in the IDW stories.
Arcee is already prominent in the IDW stories.
Hound is NOT prominent in any current stories AFAIK. Making him Prime would force Hasbro to come up with a reason why a peace loving nature scout would be a worthy candidate for becoming a Prime. NEW STORY!

Chaos:
Thunderwing, duh. Decepticon psycho leader.
Unknown Evil(Deathsaurus?): Cop out by Hasbro. Big bad guy that no one knows about. No. Boring.
Primal: Monkey! Er..ahem. How the heck is Primal Chaos? Sounds like it could be an interesting story.

My thinking re: Primal being Chaos-aligned is that while he looks like his first season pre-Transmetal Beast Wars self (at least as far as the contest goes), personality-wise they seem to be drawing on his characterization from the first season of Beast Machines, where he became more and more extreme about defeating Megatron and reformatting Cybertron to an organic state.
