Re: Post your hauls

Haul for today:

-Hot Toys MMS202-D04 RoboCop [MISB, from Urban Samurai Hobbies]

And that's it for Hot Toys until much later when the diecast IronMan Mk.III, and Metal Gear Rising Revengeance's Raiden.

On an interesting note, I've started 2015's hauls with a crazy bang: it's not even past January yet, and my hauls have been Hot Toys Iron Man Mk.42, Metal Build Avalanche Exia, now Hot Toys Robocop. Da~amn...

^Tiens, une poupée garçon!

I'm SO glad I'm not into Hot Toys, my bank account would have been long time dead otherwise.

Extremely detailed but expensive dolls. For once we agree.

Still a very nice haul. I'm checking it out on YouTube.

Haha. Yep. Not gonna argue: totally expensive, but highly detailed doll, really.

I had to get this one, though. RoboCop was one of my childhood heroes, and this one helps because my wife is a big fan as well.

If you can't find him then order him online. Shipping is FREE no matter how much you spend there so save yourself the trouble of looking for him every time you're out. I ordered my AOE Stinger on sale from the site and I looked for him for a while. It's so easy too.

Re: Post your hauls

I'll take my highly detailed doll over some Michael Bay Mc Happy Meal deluxe/voyager neon dino shit plastic clutter on my shelf any day of the week.

While not having an exactly film accurate paint job, this was last years best figure in my opinion and many others.

Re: Post your hauls

I got in the Sideshow 1/6th scale R2-D2 a few days back and i must say it is a very nice piece, best R2 high end figure to date.

I have no major issues with it, the dome seam line that people are talking about just doesn't stand out at all on my figure and this comes with a nice array of accessories to boot while surprisingly for it being a Sideshow figure, i feel they really got the scale right where Medicom failed, and the overall sculpt and detailing really gives this an authentic screen accurate look even if some of the weathering is not bang on to the OT.

My only nitpicks would be that i wish they painted the body white or eggshell white whatever it supposed to be then apply the right blues/silver and weathering, and some of the paint apps could be a bit more bold and clean, plastic(mainly on the body) feels similar to the type used on their clone trooper figures.

I am really dying now to have a Johnny 5 from Short Circuit in this scale now, wish Sideshow would take on that project.
