I'd go with the purple and orange myself, ......oh wait thats the color of my Thrust

No.... go with the burgany/purple,teal and orange my 2 shanix anyway

Re: TFcon 2013 Charity Project (Group B): Enter the Vehicons!

Got around to taking a few WIP pics of Strika. I still need to attach some bits here and there (mostly to cover up the holes left where her hip wheels were) and sand her upper thighs so there's less rubbing and maybe even some added articulation.

And naturally I had to use her boy friend for a size comparison. XD Sorry for the huge pics, guys, photobucket isn't cooperating and I had to quickly find a new image hosting site.

So... Thoughts? Suggestions?

Looks great so far man, cool use of that a star wars transformer donor.

How about a couple of huge guns for her hands, can't go wrong with big guns

Don't give ideas or she'll never get finished! Seriously, though, that could be a neat touch that I may need to look into...

So Strika is all built and finally ready for painting. Here's a few pics showing off her new wheel feet that also give her a little extra articulation. Also a comparison shot with some other WFC/FoC figures.

So I thought I'd throw up a couple WIP shots so far, now that I've gone further with my painting on Tankor.

Main body is mostly done; still need to paint up the arms at this point and then go over with details.

The cannon tip is a separate piece - I suppose in theory it'd be possible to do so.

Main thing I was gonna do, mind, was just paint it up with the chrome silver enamel that I have- that should give it a real sheen.

I'm also still deciding what I want to do about hte rifles he comes with. Might chrome silver those up too.
