Yes, I've seen it done, but I've never tried it myself. I tend to leave by figures in robot mode only. This video shows the transformation.

Found TLK Voyager Scorn. So much nicer than the deluxe and scales better with Leader Grimlock.
I wasn't originally gonna buy Scorn since he never made it into TLK, and he was barely in AOE, but it's a lot neater a figure than anticipated. Now if only ALL the Dinobots got redone (or at least ones seen in the movie)
