Re: The Refraktors Dilemma

I always enjoyed them in the cartoon, the slight army builder style (but occasionally treated as individuals or a tied trio) that I had to get three of the retail releases. And I and my son are enjoying them.

Skipping the box set because it's more expensive and I have the G1 toy and never liked the colors. No nostalgia for the colors/style and I don't miss the extra accessories. I actually think the standard camera looks fine.

Matrix Workshop has you covered there. Priced at $26.99 USD or you take your chances off Chinese resellers on eBay to try and save on shipping.

I'd probably do this with 3 cartoon color toys if I cared enough about Reflector.

Re: The Refraktors Dilemma

Got the box set, I do like that they each have their own colour they’ll be my earth mode bots. I’ll grab the purple ones as I see them for their “Cybertronian” modes. I’m going to need a bigger collector room I’d like to see a Siege Grapple or Inferno or dare I say Constructicons! I’ve kept my classics/generations figures for their earthier feel of actually trying to blend in. Like Kup and Blurr for instance. The G1 looking versions of them are in my cybertronian collection.

Got 2 more purple Reflectors, I’m going to join all 3 in spaceship mode.

Re: The Refraktors Dilemma

I have the set. After playing with it, I feel like refraktor really shouldnt worth that much. Sure, it is a nice figure, but 29.99 dollars for regular color refraktor simply is too much. Maybe I will grab one regular version when it is on sale.

Still waiting for toysrus to go on sale so I can get my refraktor price adjustment.

Re: The Refraktors Dilemma

If I was to spend on them - it would b the 3 cartoon colours, no contest. But since the Papa Toys version I got last year is so nice, I don't need to.

Re: The Refraktors Dilemma

I got the 3 pack today but since I'm in Quebec they were shipping them back due to English only packaging but I got lucky due to a friend!

I'm still on the fence about keeping him since the $100 price is steep especially since the MFT one I got was like $35... What do you guys think?

Are you saying the 3 figure pack is now selling for 69.99 and below?
