I went to Van over the weekend. It was nice to experience the atmosphere.. it's a once in a lifetime sort of thing.

You guys still have a Molson brewery? Ours was torn down and condos were built over them.
Thanks dude. Yeah, there's some good stuff here to eat and drink. The German House was really awesome. Got drunk there. Expensive beer, but whatever, it's not like we have that sort of thing everyday. Going to the Heineken house this week. I plan to eat and drink whatever I can, haha. At Robson Square, there's this Zip Line where you can shoot across the square over top of everyone. I want to do it, but there's usually a 4 hour wait.

It's an old panoramic swing lens camera from Russia. It takes regular film and the picture is shot over a frame and a half of film with a 120 degrees swing lens. It's a super finicky camera that took me a long time to know how to use properly with any sort of confidence. It's only really good for wide shots. It takes true panoramic shots - none of this stitching together crap that digital cameras do.

Here's another. I'll take more as the Olympics go on:

Granville Island and Burrard Bridge:

I love watching the curling, I find it a fascinating game especially at the Olympic level.

I wish I'd have known this, I had a bunch of tickets for the Capital One tournament in guelph last month. It was pretty fun to watch in person, though.

Am I feeling olympic? Well, I AM wearing a Team Canada jersey today...

I want more pictures!

I forgot to voice my disapointment about the opening ceremonies. I was really expecting Kelly Hrudey to light the cauldron instead of Wayne Gretzky.

I have been taking some of it in, More that I thought for sure. Glad to see Canada representing.

As for Kelly Hrudey, in what crazy world would Hrudey be more qualified to hold the torch than the Great One?

Watching Can vs Japan women's curling at the moment; Anna Ohmiya is one hot curler.
