Kinda has to come with the convention though.

This is just a online purchase, and I'll pass.

Missed the fine print - you have to be a PREMIUM
member to order today.

Premium Costs $50 and gives you unlimited shipping to the USA.

Totally useless for Canadians.

Works out to $107USD for shipping and taxes, so more like $143 cad .... just not worth it IMHO.

Well, those didn't last too long.

I went on the pulse site just before 9 (pacific) and started F5ing until the con stuff went live. Added the Quints to the cart, played their little capcha game to prove I'm not a bot and went to checkout.

Recklessly, I went back to see if I could add another one to my cart because I wanted 2. One, to open and one to keep MISB. That was when I noticed the ONE per customer limit and went through the checkout process AGAIN. It went pretty smoothly and trying not to think about the exorbitant shipping cost, I got my order confirmation and confirmation email. That wasn't too difficult at all!

I then went back to see if I could order another one possibly to a different address or with a different credit card only to find that they were all sold out.

It was 9:04. I felt like I had escaped a close brush with death.

They sold out as I went to click "confirm" in the checkout screen (or whatever the final button is called). Didn't realize there's no actual virtual queue going on, just a mad dash to the cashier....maybe it's like that at SDCC as well?
