BotCon 2016 unofficial Preview (SG BW)
So I was thinking not long ago about what Shattered Glass would do with the rest of the multiverse, and came up with this pretty interesting idea. Something fleshed out enough for it to almost be from FunPub.

Shattered Glass Expanded - Beast Wars
The Autobots have won, and with the Pax Cybertronia they enslaved the remaining Decepticons. Autobots experimented and adapted the Depecticons into a smaller and more manageable class: the Protocons. Perfecting the process, the Autobots then adapted themselves into a more advanced and efficient form: the Maximals.
The Tri-Protocus council was tasked with keeping the politics of the slaves in check, under the guise of self direction. Protocons were more likely to follow the Maximals' directives if they thought the orders came from their own government. As often as they could, the Tri-Protocus council searched for a way out for their people.
By chance, they discovered an encoded message left by Starscream on an Earth artifact.
They tasked Cryotek, a Protocon in charge of curating many of Cybertron's artifacts and relics, with executing their instructions.
Cryotek assembled a group none would suspect to steal the Golden Disc and replace it with a forgery. Not difficult, considering the crude materials and manufacturing process. After the theft, they would be sent on a bogus task with a ship capable of Trans-Warp to complete their mission.
Discovering the theft and executing Cryotek, the Maximals redirected a small paramilitary group to recover the disc and punish the deviant Protocons with extreme prejudice.

Ultra Primal (SG BW Optimus Primal) (personality of Judge Dredd)
-T-Rex
Ultra Primal's original mission was to dispose of the experiment Dampage and to leave no trace. A tall task, considering the semi-immortal nature of Dampage's spark. When Ultra Primal was called to pursue a band of renegade Protocons, his bloodthirsty nature reveled in it. He loves nothing more than enforcing the law as judge, jury, and of course, executioner.
Trinox (SG BW Rhinox) (personality of Number-2 from Austin Powers)
-Triceratops
Brilliant as they come, Trinox loathes the fact that he was placed in Ultra Primal's command. Though he would never usurp his commanding officer, he might arrange for some accident. At that point, he could take command and complete their mission. His knowledge is completely at Ultra Primal's disposal, but is rarely ever used.
Rattletrap (SG BW Rattrap)
-Rattlesnake
An odd combination of headstrong and paranoid. Rattletrap prefers to sit back and let the unthinking machines around him do what they do best. He's quick to take praise for what he's commanded the machines to do, and even quicker to point his finger at the infernal electronics when something goes wrong. The Axalon's defenses are at his command, but often he'd like nothing more than for them to bring him a nice tall glass of liquid Energon.
Cheetor (SG BW Cheetor)
-Hyena
Always the trickster, Cheetor does what he can to get the upper hand. He'll lie, falsify readings, and send his teammates on wild goose chases. Though at one time he might have been groomed for a command position, that ship has long sailed. His hi-jinx don't normally backfire, but when they do, there's always hell to pay.
Tigatron (SG BW Tigatron)
-Tiger (yellow)
Tigatron has more or less gone native in the new environment. He's bonded with the local tigers and collected quite the harem. His knowledge of his surroundings allow him to come up with ingenious methods of using nature itself to accomplish his goals, whether that be isolating himself and his harem, or drugging Protocons into a stupor.
Razor (SG BW Airazor) (personality of a valley-girl)
-Vulture
A bit of an airhead or valley-girl, she and Arcnia form a really well knit team. While Arcnia has the determination and moxie, Razor has the plan and tenacity to follow through. The pair often keep to themselves compared to the "boy's club" that they call the rest of the Maximals. Her alternate mode is appropriate, as she really enjoys playing with corpses.
Inferno (SG BW Inferno)
-Cockroach
Inferno can't stand the other Maximals. This mission was supposed to be a short and quick dump run, something to elevate his portfolio and boost him on to the next mission. He'll do his job quickly and efficiently, but that's about it. And most often with some sort of uttered complaint.
Silverbolt (SG BW Silverbolt)
-Dog
Mangy as they come, Silverbolt gets his hands dirty. Goon, henchman, minion, each of those would describe him perfectly. He's a bit of a bully when it suits him, but his actions are always directed by someone else. He also enjoys rolling in filth. He can't stand Arcnia's obnoxious cuteness, but tolerates her to get a bit closer to Razor. They both like to play around with corpses.
Arcnia (SG BW Blackarachnia) (personality of Harley Quinn on Ecstasy)
-Rabbit
Arcnia is a QT and she knows it. Always full of youthful optimism and the determination that her way and the Maximal way is the right way. She and Razor are BFFs 4 life. That, and Arcnia just LURVES to play fetch with Silverbolt. Good doggie.
Quickstrike (SG BW Quickstrike)
-Cobra
Despite his name, Quickstrike likes nothing more than remaining as calm and cool as possible. He'll take forever to execute a command, normally taking the least amount of effort.
Depthcharge (SG BW Depthcharge)
-Crab
Sent by Maximal high command to ensure Dampage's destruction after Ultra Primal's mission changed. Depthcharge does not want to fulfill his mission priorities, mainly because he believes that more experiments could be completed on the Protocon that would benefit all of Cybertron.

Starscream (SG BW Megatron) (personality of William Adama)
-Babboon (B'Boom)
Having taken on a name that inspires his small rag-tag band of renegades, Starscream hopes beyond all hope to change the past. Not just for the sake of Cybertron and all Protocons, but for the survival of Humanity and Earth as well.
Terrasoar (SG BW Terrorsaur) (personality of Stanley Laurel)
-Eagle
Terrasoar and Scoopernok form a great pair. Terrasoar's a bit dumb around the edges but deceptively clever. He often get's the better of Scoopernok through some means, and rarely on purpose.
Warpigator (SG BW Waspinator) (personality of James Bond)
-Alligator
With the right tools at his side, Warpigator can accomplish anything. And often without ever receiving even a scratch. Clever, observant, and loyal, he is the cotter pin that holds the Protocons together time and time again.
Torrentulus (SG BW Tarantulas) (personality of Gilligan)
-Chimpanzee
Torrentulus is all thumbs. A self styled engineer, of sorts, he was actually one of the janitors at the archives and managed to tag along with Starscream somehow. Always trying to get involved and prove himself, Torrentulus makes a mess of any plan he comes into contact. It was his activities that accidentally alerted the Maximals. Despite his nature, he tries very hard and wants nothing more than to be liked by the others.
Dynabyte (SG BW Dinobot)
-Mongoose
A dirty pit fighter, and the muscle of the original theft. If there's an exploit, Dynabyte will find it. If there's a glitch he can influence, then it'll happen every time. A natural rival to Rattletrap's reliance on defenses and machines, which is why he chose the mongoose as his new form. Though he believes in Starscream's cause, Dynabyte's heart just isn't in it.
Scoopernok (SG BW Scorpinok) (personality of Oliver Hardy)
-Pellican
Surly, but with a teddybear quality. He sees himself as the brains of the pair between he and Terrasaur, but often gets dumbfounded by his partner's clever stupidity. Despite this, they work great as a team. Birds of a feather flock together.
Dampage (SG BW Rampage) (personality of River Tam)
-Manta Ray
To perfect the Protocon process, the Maximals needed a test subject that would survive nearly anything. For this, they produced a spark based on the original Starscream, and placed it into a body for them to experiment. Nearly all Protocon procedures were perfected on Dampage, leaving his psyche unstable and paranoid. Through the commotion of the Beast Wars, Dampage managed to escape and return to his Protocon brethren.
Ravage (SG BW Ravage)
-Panther (white)
As a prominent Protocon political figure, Ravage took it upon himself to follow and uncover the true activities of the Darksyde and Axalon crews. He wishes to prove that the whole thing is one big misunderstanding and return everything to the status-quo.
