But I shouldn't critisize Honky, he's already hit me on the head with a guitar (true story! )

Now that's a story I'd love to hear about. And yes Honky said no. I saw a shoot interview a while back when he was on the independants and he explained his view on the HoF.
Basically the HoF is just a way for Vince to make merchandising money off the characters in WWF/E history. Vince doesnt own the character, just the footage.
Thats why their were no Ultimate Warrior dolls for a long time. Warrior did not want to sign over the rights. Warrior even went as far as to manufacture his own dolls. So I was real surprised Warrior accepted Vinces offer to enter the HoF considering the bad blood.
Even Warrior said in his HoF speech that he was happy to make a 5 year "deal" with the WWE as an Ambassador, whatever that means. Every HoF induction is associated with a merchandising deal and loss of character rights.
Yes, they make money, but lose the rights. Thats why Warrior fought Vince in the courts for a long time, and won. And Vince repaid him by producing that Self Destruction of the Ultimate Warrior DVD about him, that Warrior wasn't even part of. Total dick move.
Honestly, I think Warrior was a dying man and he knew it. If you listen to his speech carefully, he sounds like he trying to get a lot of stuff off his chest but couldnt bring himself to do so. He even makes a statement about life being short and having only a few years to live. Could he have been referring to himself? Two days later he died.
Anyways, not trying to bash on Vince and the HoF but to me it's not a real HoF. I just like seeing the guys I grew up watching getting some long earned recognition for all the injuries and hardships they endured.
Sorry to breakup the Raw discussion. Carry on...
