NES emulator mini-console w/ 30 games

Get your retro gaming on this holiday season. Officially licensed and designed to look like a miniaturized NES, this little guy for $80 even hooks up with HDMI instead of composite jacks and can support a second controller for an extra $12.

Not too shabby if your actual NES or your cartridges have died.

Re: NES emulator mini-console w/ 30 games

Recently picked up the Sega Genesis console with 80 games, so this will be an easy pick up to go with it as a companion piece. Only concern is the price tag. I paid $50 for the Sega Genesis version.

Apparently only about half of those are actual Genesis games though, not to mention it only outputs in mono & none of the games appear to have a save feature...yeah, I have a lot more faith in the value of the Nintendo product on this one.

This thing is awsome. Auto-bought. Wonder where it will retail? Ol' Walmart?

Re: NES emulator mini-console w/ 30 games

My local game shop sold all its preorders in 2 days. I'm thinking it's going to be a modified version of the Wii inside it though, it works just like a Wii with games downloaded onto it which is exactly what your Wii can do now.

The actual genesis games play pretty well, the rest . . . are nothing special. This little nes looks really good, pretty good selection of games too.

I wonder if it's going to use the Wii mini's internal components with hdmi added.
