Yea I know, I am just saying the line in general most of the characters I would want are based on imports.

I think anyone who is new to this TF hobby should hold off at getting Quakewave. If Takara is going to concentrate on the Decepticons for their upcoming release, there is a chance we may get a Shockwave. But I seriously want a show accurate Megatron

It'll never happen. ToyBox owns the rights to Shockwave, not Takara. So unless those 2 companies sit down and decide on a joint release, it won't happen.

I've heard this many times before, and delved into a little research, but how could it be that Hasbro/tak can release toys with the name shockwave but are unable to make an MP?

Do they own the rights to the character Shockwave or the Shockwave G1 toy mould? What would stop Takara from making a new design for the Masterpiece line? Sorry I'm not too sure the history of this.

Even if they do make an "real" Shockwave I will pass on the original one of him and get the grey repaint, because from what I can tell and based on what has been delivered, I am pretty sure he will be released
Just need a perfect megatron for now to finish the trio and then I can kick mp 10b out haha

Do you mean the Grey Quakewave? That's already out.
