It isn't. The biggest give away being the lack of wipers on the Bot form versus vehicle form. Add another to Takara chest-forming.

I don't know if I can tolerate this fake chest for masterpiece... for other transformers level I guess it's fine, but for Optimus Prime, it's almost like his signature the truck window becomes chest.

Think Optimus Primal's chest piece. You open the window, pull it out, spin it upside down, slot it back in.

I don't see how much better this one is as opposed to the current version of MP10. It seems to have more gaps and panels that don't line up. The details are missing. and looks like it will have a messy back ala megatron (as seen from the wide hinge and messy shoulder gaps. It looks more cartoony (can be useful for a cell shaded look).
Sure it is a prototype, but it really feels like they are going for a simplified look.
