Why are the Rumble and Ravage figures so expensive?

I bought the G1 Bumblebee from Wal-Mart seeing as how my keychain Bumblebee broke, and it was only seven dollars or so, but the price of those two little guys is about $20. I also bought Warpath.

Well they’re $30 here, so you’re getting a bargain. I see you’re listed as in Florida, but this is a Canadian site. Not sure if you meant to be here, but welcome anyway. (Us Canadians are nice.)

As to the answer for your question... nostalgia cash grab is my best guess. If you get Soundwave, you neeeeeeeeeeed his minions. They have us by the wallets.

Up here they're $70 Canadian for both sets after taxes for reissued figures with inferior plastic, I passed hard on those.

Well I have Soundwave, but not THAT Soundwave. Another G1 Transformer I got from Wal-Mart is Outback. Here's the Soundwave I have with all the mini G1 Transformers I have.

I'd like to get the G1 Ravage even though I passed up on the G1 Soundwave because it was $50.
