It seems to be the squared edge on the hinge. Its meant to keep it up when transforming. However it isn't needed once you compress the legs into the front so I shaved the joint so it was rounded. Removes the resistance so I don't break it.

They called for my 2 Ratchets but didn’t for Zetar & Nightbird. Ratchets they kept them at the front desk but the other 2 they pulled them off from the back. Same store. Go figure...
