I bought it cause it looked awesome in the packaging. But when I opened it I was very disappointed. I want to return it, it's that bad IMO.
More detailed thoughts here

Not really. Some loose joints, and the gun mode kinda fits loosely those combiner hands. DOTM version was much better.
EDIT: Played with it some more, he's actually not THAT bad. Gun mode still is loose fitting with combiner hands though (but the fit is ok when the individual figures are holding him). He certainly looks more like G1 Powerglide than the DOTM version, if that's what you're after.

I would fully recommend Powerglide. IMO he is far superior to the DOTM powerglide in scale and quality, I have had him for over a month now with no issues regarding QC and I put away my Maketoys and DOTM in favour of the CW Powerglide.

Damn Silverbolt is so awesome, I haven't had so much fun with a figure as this one in such a long time. His gestalt mode in particular is fan-fun-tastic!

He is fantastic isn't he, I can't wait to get the takara versions of Superion and Menasor.

CW wave 1 showing up at Target stores now, but at elevated prices: $14.99 (Legends), $19.99 (Deluxes), $34.99 (Voyagers).
And no, liquidation hasn't started yet.

Wow, that's comic store-like pricing right there. Plus Target is no longer price matching, so that doesn't help either.
The sad part is that I'll likely swing by my local one tonight just in the hopes to see them anyways.

I think pricematching varies location to location. My store's CS desk told me today they are still pricematching.

Ah, ok. Didn't realize that.
When I was at my local Target last week, there was a sign posted in the front foyer specifically stating they no longer were price matching.
Though, I suppose in this case, since TRU pulled their online listings, it wouldn't have helped anyways.

It's practically cheaper for me to just import Takara figures from Japan. Jesus.
