Cybertron: The Most Repainted Transformers Line Ever?

Thinking about this the other day while looking over the wall of $10 Voyagers: There are a lot of Cybertron Re-paints. It seems that almost every figure has been re-painted at least once...but some as many times as 3 or 4. Does Cybertron really hold up that well?

So off the top of my head the figures that have not been re-painted at least once (feel free to prove me wrong):

- Dirtboss
- Backstop
- Brimstone
- Snarl

Backstop and Snarl I get, but Dirtboss was decent. Wonder why he never made the cut?

You also forgot Black Convoy, which was slightly different from Nemesis, and there was also the Lucky Draw too if you really want to get technical.

I think it does. It was an excellent line from top to bottom, and probably the best that modern TF's had to offer until Animated bumped it (IMO).

Why not keep using some of the great molds for those that may have missed them the first time around. Also, some of the repaints have been superior to the originals.

Although I will disagree with Dirt Boss. Him and Thundercraker were a couple of the weak points for me.

snarl was repainted into botcon exclusive weirdwolf.the other 3....nada.(dirtboss i turned into g1 tm crosshairs but that doesn't count)
then there's also "scout class" scattorshot which i think hasn't been repainted yet either.

I would buy a Dirt Boss repaint with a realistic deco and BLACK tires on any day. Fun mold.

There was a black version of Snarl too (Takara).

And here I thought Universe 1.0 was the most repainted line ever since EVERYTHING was a repaint :P

Re: Cybertron: The Most Repainted Transformers Line Ever?

I think the classics seeker mold may be the most repainted mold ever, and if you want to get technical using henkei, I think classics may be one of the most repainted lines, since the average mold has at least 4 decos.

This is just off the top of my head though.
