Any places to buy Transformers in the GTA area?
I'm going to Toronto all this weekend (Monster Jam) and then Vaughn all Sunday. Anywhere to buy Transformers in and around all these cities? Like comic shops or something. I'll be traveling from Peterborough, so anywhere in between too, such as Whitby or Pickering, etc..
We will be stopping by Silver Snail downtown Toronto for sure.

Re: Any places to buy Transformers in the GTA area?
Was just at silver snail, they had next to nothing transformers wise. Very disappointing. Like 4 animated toys, a small section of old commoners wars, that was it.
We stopped in toys r us in Pickering as well, they didn't have much either, I was like what? This is it?
This line doesn't seem to be very popular anymore.

Pretty sure that most transformer transactions will be made online eventually. Seems that's how it's headed for the future anyway.

That's too bad. I haven't been there in quite some time but that's very disappointing to hear.

You could try the toys toys toys store at the Vaughn mills mall. They usually have a pretty decent selection of some of the older lines all the way back to power core combines.
Sometimes the Pacifica mall has a booth or two with some masterpiece and import figures.
And there Extreme Anime on spadina as well.
Silver snail does carry some custom figures in a few display cases if your looking for something unique but be prepared for higher prices there.
Sometimes Mr. Fleas flea market has booth of transformers collectibles. And there the dixie outlet mall as well. Two vendor there that sometimes carry older lines of toys.
Comic warehouse on Sheppard Ave carries some of the anniversary releases on occasion but I haven't been there of late to be sure if they still do.
I struck gold once at a Chinese mall on Sheppard years ago that had a whole selection of alternators. And sometimes you can find that totally awesome k.o. figure of a third party product that's so close to the original for 20 bucks!
Definitely do some research on places to go.
Another is ads I've seen on kijiji from the kings pawn shop. Cases crammed with loose figures and bagged sets. Believe their on Dundas but don't quote me on that. Havent been there.

Last time I was in the city I got to go in and buy some stuff at the Madhaus, but I guess some guy's living room isn't what most people are looking for in their shopping experience.
He has a really nice cat and we had a real conversation though, neither of which I doubt you're getting at silver snail or whatever.
