Another comment in line with my "Why not Animated" query.

Couldn't it just be an airing of all 3 parts of MTMTE? That would be pretty different.

I am only interested in watching a movie so long as we can yell funny and annoying things as it plays. And the 1986 movie is the best for that.

Apologies to those who like to take these sorts of things seriously, but watching the movie with room full of other jerks is some of the most fun I've ever had at a convention. Otherwise I wouldn't care because I could just watch it quietly at home.

True.

But as a latecomer to G1-related fiction, I do find that MTMTE is pretty well-done.
