Dr. Wu DW-T01 Legends not-Perceptor
The first full figure from Dr. Wu is a Legends-ish figure inspired by G1 Perceptor!

He's comically small but I love it!

He's 3 inches tall at the head. Not that little.

Re: Dr. Wu DW-T01 Legends not-Perceptor
The surface textures seem to be pretty much a direct replication - not sure if that might lead to legal issues, particularly as the face/head is so similar.
I like the additional articulation, although I'm kind of surprised that a waist joint wasn't tossed in there. No additional items like a sniper rifle to distinguish it more from the original toy, either. And the design of the attachment point for the scope makes me wonder if it will suffer from the same problem the original had, where it snapped off all the time. It could have been a great opportunity to rework the connectors with C-joints or balljoints to allow it to snap firmly into place in either mode (something the original toy didn't have) and also to be able to place the scope on the figure's back pointing upwards, as depicted in some of the comics.
It's not a _bad_ figure in and of itself. It's just that a lot of opportunities seem to have been ignored.

Love the Cannon Galvatron-homage mode!
But that cigarette lighter is embarrassing.

Re: Dr. Wu DW-T01 Legends not-Perceptor
Not sure why they made him so small. If he was the size of a regular Legends/Legion-class toy then I might be interested, but given the pictures shown here this Perceptor would be a full head shorter than, say, Prowl and I don't remember that being the case in the cartoon.

Re: Dr. Wu DW-T01 Legends not-Perceptor
Should have been taller, like other Legends.

The mold I like, we'll have to wait to see the colors.
So, I'm guessing....$40?
