My magus came in and was 86 version.

0 packaging in shipping box though so box is pretty banged up.

So annoying.

I have a feeling SS86 Ultra Magnus will get an official re-release down the road. Look at Jetfire and Grimlock. Two biggies who have had re-releases because they sell so well. I imagine SS86 Ultra Magnus falls into that category as well.

Yup. Happened to me Got a siege loose in a SS86 box. I printed up a message saying it was a scam return and put it on and in the box before returning it.

On the plus side, I ordered from this latest batch and got an SS86 AND it came in a nice, protective box.

BMAC said they will release more eventually, so just be patient.

Glad to hear confirmation about more SS86 UM getting released since I haven't picked one up yet.


It seems Hasbro is making a push to re-release a lot of older, more popular, product. Probably the easiest way to make a bit more money since the molds and packaging already exist. Zero investment outside of another production run and as a benefit some of them can be charged at the new higher price point. (not all of them of course)

Of course, and don't forget the reuse they get out of molds with retooling.
