Sick Kids Project - TFA Inferno
hey gang, Mal here
I'm sure the majority of you all know I'm part of Cliffjumper's Sick Kids project, and that I'm doing an Animated Inferno...but if you didn't, now you know.
(and knowing is approximately 50% of the conflict. General infantry person!)
But as I mentioned in the main Sick Kids topic, here is a sub-topic devoted to the progress of Inferno.
Now just to bring you up to speed, I shall post the photos I took before these new ones...

Re: Sick Kids Project - TFA Inferno
AND here are the new pics
a few little notes regarding Inferno you may or may not know;
- the ladder is from one of those cheap convenience store fire trucks
- ladder ratcheting base is from a TFTM gray Megatron, with the base of that pinned into a fixture that will glue to Inferno's arm
- the ladder has will hopefully have 360 degrees of rotation and about 90 degrees of raise (your standard ladder articulation), with a full length of about 12 inches
I'm still waiting on a donation from fellow board member CybrMunky (dude you freaking rock!) so once I get that, Inferno will have a missile launcher on the ladder (Energon homage ftw x3) and a more modern-looking G1 water cannon arm.

Re: Sick Kids Project - TFA Inferno
That's looking great so far, Mal! I never would have imagined Bulkhead pulling off a firetruck mod so well. At first I was a little confused on why you put the ladder on his arm and not fuse his back kibble and put the ladder on that to simulate G1 Inferno's look, but after a look at some pics it doesn't look too feasible (plus I've never had the chance to see a Bulkhead figure in person, so what do I know ). Good call!
This is going to look great when everything comes together, bud. I can't wait to see this sucker painted!

Try what Nocturn does: Snap in quick succession, like 5 or 6, delete all but the clearest.
