A fun project here : a transformable Kre-O movie-like Megatron truck. Figuring out the transformation sequence was tricky as I wanted him to be different from my transformable Kre-O Optimus, but I think I succeeded. After that, it was a matter of closing the cab nicely and figuring out kibble and clearance issues with all the moving parts.
TRUCK MODE
You can't see them but there's a seat and a control stick inside (couldn't fit a steering wheel as the parts were upside-down). You can't sit a figure though, there are clearance issues.
ROBOT MODE
TRANSFORMATION SEQUENCE (FROM TRUCK TO ROBOT)
1. Detach the fusion cannon from under the truck
2. Fold the mirrors flat agains the cab
3. Fold down the front bumper assembly
3. Open up slightly the rear panels
4. Swing down the lateral panels
5. Swing up the rear cab halves to form the feet
6. Swing up the top cab halves to form the lower legs
7. Swing down and around the cab halves to form the legs
8. Rotate the chest plate 180 degrees
9. Separate the rear end and swing down the arms
10. Rotate the arms at the bicep 180 degrees
11. Swing up the claws and bend the rear section to form the forearms
12. Swing down the head
13. Attach fusion cannon on the right upper arm
14. Adjust the "wings"
15. Swing the ladders around and up inside the lower legs
16. Swing up the bumper assembly toward the back
17. Rotate the smokestacks up 90 degrees
18. Rotate the knee pads down 45 degrees
Robot is a bit hard to pose as the arms are pretty heavy and the legs are limited by the knee joints used (they can only move forward/backward) but I can get decent poses and I think the end result looks bulky and menacing. Brake lights on the knuckles can act as weapons, just like the clear red knob in the middle of the chest.
