ROTF : Leader Prime : Part 2 of Power-Up Prime

So this is another Leader Prime I've completed. I still need to take bot mode pics. Pretty much straight run like the first, however with this version, I redid the flames, using real images of the Prime truck at botcon 2 years ago. Traced them in illustrator and made vinyl stencils.

I went a little darker with the red and blue this time as well. Overall darker shade on the entire figure, to help blend him with Jetfire when combined.

Cool little extra I added was some 24 gauge jewelry wire coiled around a brush to resemble the wires on the back of the cab.

I'm also a lot happier with the chrome results this round.

wow thats amazing. How did you achieve that chrome effect? It looks like real chrome.

How long have you been doing this stuff?

Ive collected transformers for years but stopped a few years ago.

I just barely picked it up again after seeing peoples customs. I had never done any customs besides painting a bootleg jetfire to the jetfire colors since i couldnt afford a real one. Dont have much skills but trying to learn from others.

I did however actually have a chance to work on some real life transformers so to speak. I spent a few years back in the late 90s working at NASA in the Automations and Robotics Division.

The most famous robot i worked on was ROBONAUT
